Company Profile
Durham Precision Engineering was formed in January 1985 by Tom Stoddart to provide a sub-contract toolroom and precision machining service to companies throughout the North East of England.
From its beginnings in a 3,000 square feet unit with five employees the company has continued to grow steadily, with year on year investment in staff, training, machinery and systems we now have an annual turnover in excess of £1.75 million and 36 employees.
In 1992 we re-located to a 6,500 square feet purpose built facility which, due to our continual growth, was extended in 1997 to 13,000 square feet.
